Set in the most beautiful countryside setting, the larger of the two self-catering cottages is the Farmhouse, which can sleep ten. The smaller, Reverend Candy Annex, sleeps two.

Both dog friendly cottages are simply stunning historic buildings that evoke all of the nostalgia of days gone by. That said, they are both fitted out to the highest standard and offer all mod-cons and creature comforts. One great feature is that, if you have a large party the two properties can be linked and rented together.

Nestled in the heart of some of the most heavenly Kentish countryside (approximately six miles from Ashford), Darling Buds Farm is perfect for dogs and their owners. Each morning you can set of to explore the network of paths that crisscross the farm’s 35 acres of beautiful land, which features a lovely garden, pond and waterfall.

The surrounding countryside is full of great pubs in which to try the best of local food and drink (The Black Horse Pub in Pluckley was a favourite of Pop Larkin). For shopping, why not try nearby Tenterden, which has a steam railway and lots of interesting independent retailers. If you are a wine buff, then you’ll want to explore the Biddenden and Chapel Down vineyards. Amongst the long list of other local attractions are Sissinghurst Castle and gardens, the South of England Rare Breeds Centre and Canterbury, with its beautiful cathedral.

Great TripAdvisor Reviews

“Didn’t want to leave”, “I wish I had better words to describe it but basically just being there made me smile. I loved it.” and “Perfick Weekend”  are just a few of the words to describe how other holiday guests have enjoyed their stay. Why not read the reviews for yourself and find a date for your next dog friendly holiday.
