Thatch Close Cottages is proud of the fact that they welcome all breeds of dog. If you let them know you’re bringing a pet, then they’ll make sure there’s a throw on the sofa and a special rub-down towel waiting for you. Two of the cottages have enclosed patio areas in which your pet can run free. A kennel can also be provided.
The three historic cottages, which used to be barns, have been beautifully restored and provide real luxury and all modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi and Smart HD TVs. Cider Cottage is a warm and cosy retreat and sleeps two. Brambles Barn boasts a beautiful oak interior and sleeps four. Valley View provides full wheelchair access and sleeps two.
There is a long list of dog-friendly pubs and other places to visit on the Cottages’ website, including the famous beauty spot of Symonds Yat and the beautiful Forest of Dean (which is only five miles away.) This means that you and your four-legged friend will be able to enjoy a fantastic choice of walks. The cottages are also close to many of Herefordshire beautiful towns and castles. In addition, according to the Thatch Cottage Farm website, there are over a dozen doggy services within six miles. These include dog grooming, a nail bar and dog sitting services.

The three cottages have inter–linking doors, which means they can be rented together to provide really flexible accommodation for larger groups.
