Dog Friendly Highland Lodges

Wildside Highland Lodges near Lochness complete with hot tub in a woodland setting near Loch Ness. Pet friendly accommodation.

Wildside Highland Lodges are located close to the picturesque hamlet of Whitebridge. Next to a beautiful highland river, they are a real haven of peace and quiet – the ultimate ‘get away from it all’ destination.

The local area is a paradise for dogs and their owners. Head out, lead in hand, and you’ll be able to explore the surrounding woodland and the walks along the banks of the River Fechlin. Venture further afield and you’ll be able to bag a Munro or two.

Only three miles from Loch Ness, the lodges are the perfect base from which to explore the beautiful glens, mountains and rivers of this world-famous region. You’ll also be spoilt for choice if you’re interested in castles, museums and distilleries – the whole landscape is alive with the history and culture of Scotland.

There are seven types of lodges to choose from, each of which boasts many unique, luxury features. For example, the Otter Lodge is located right on the river bank and offers a romantic one-bedroom retreat. While, the Dalwhinnie Lodges are Scandinavian in design and have four-person hot tubs and wrap-around verandas.

All of the lodges are dog-friendly, although there are a few sensible stipulations: dogs must be kept on a lead around the park and any dog mess cleaned away. Dogs must also not be left unattended in the lodges during your stay.

“Wanted for nothing”, “welcoming hot tub”, “did the walk to The Falls of Foyer from the site which we all enjoyed especially the dog”, are a few of the great reviews Wildside Highland Lodges have received on Tripadvisor.
